I am excited to be taking part in an interesting art project at the Slade Art School, The Voice and Nothing More. The event is curated by Sam Belinfante and Neil Luck. I’ll be collaborating with visual artist Diana Taylor on a new piece for female voice and electronics that will be performed by Lore Lixembourg and myself on Thursday 15th January.

Jalapeno Slammer by ben_oliver_music
This is a live recording of my piece for Dan Stern’s Woodwork, Jalapeno Slammer. Featuring Dan Stern (tenor saxophone), Rowland Sutherland (flute), Adam Bishop (bass clarinet), Andrew McCormack (piano), Will Collier (bass), and Laurie Lowe (drums).
I hope you agree that the musicians did me proud!

You can download for free Blue Swerver’s album from Jamendo – I played keys on most of the album which features the whispering tones and lyrical genius of Adam Green. Feel free to pass the word on if you like it…

Here is a recent performance of my piece ‘Schism 1’ by Labyrinth in Huddersfield.

My piece ‘Jalapeno Slammer’ is being performed tonight at The Vortex in Dalston as part of London Jazz Festival by Dan Stern’s Woodwork – see www.danstern.co.uk for more details.
I am just over at Robin’s studio getting my new website up and running. I will be adding more content over the coming weeks but it is all looking a little bare at the moment.
